Giraffe Translations is a London-based translation company and a full member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC), with individual members of its team registered with the Chartered Institute of Linguists (IoL) and/or the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI). We adhere to the ATC strict code of professional conduct and carry full professional indemnity insurance to safeguard your interests.

The company is directed by Dr. Mehran Taghvaipour who has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (IoL) since 1999. Mehran is a linguist and holds a PhD in Computational Linguistics (Essex), an MA in English Language Teaching (ATU, Tehran) and a BA in English Literature (SBU, Tehran). He has been in translation business since July 1998 and has since held various managerial roles in London-based practices.

We are proud to be co-operating closely with Associated Translators (AT). AT is based in the heart of London since 1986 and provides comprehensive interpreting and translation services which complement those offered by Giraffe Translations. Both companies share common goals and policies to ensure that customers’ requirements are always met promptly and efficiently.
